Transportation barriers are often cited as barriers to healthcare access resulting in missed appointments, delayed services, and poor health outcomes. The Social Determinants of Health and data gathered from 360 helps to illustrate how these consequences disproportionately impact those in poverty and their health outcomes. Identifying trends, outcomes, and opportunities to enhance care delivery access is at the forefront of 360 Quality Care '+ Transport's purpose.
We caught up with 360's owner, Stephen Newman, upon his return from back to back conferences, the Non Emergency Medical Transportation Accreditation Commission (NEMTAC) and the National Association of Case Management (NACM).
"In an effort to partition the concept of "Quality" based transport from "Volume" based transport, Newman has identified four key success components unique to his business and the Quality model". - Ralph Pfremmer, Growth and Customer Experience Consultant, 360.
Be the future of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT).
360 is setting the stage, providing high quality, reliable, personable and on-time, door-thru-door or bedside to bedside, wheelchair, stretcher and assisted ambulatory transport services, not just in and around St. Louis, but also intra and inter-state throughout the Midwest.
Participate in determining performance standards for accreditation.
We are advisory board members for a national standards accreditation commission called NEMTAC where we are an integral part of the team developing high quality national ANSI standards for driver, vehicle and company credentialing, that will lead the NEMT industry through the next decade and more.
Advocate for Improved Access to Care.
We are advocates for improving non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) access to care. We believe that timely and reliable transportation, especially for high-risk patients, can improve patient care coordination, improve health outcomes, reduce both hospital re-admissions and ER admissions, and reduce overall health care costs.
Use technology AND live customer service to keep appointments on-time.
We are the St. Louis region’s high quality standard bearer for the patients, communities, and medical facilities we service, for whom we have earned a reputation as the area’s most timely, reliable and professional transportation service by including specific pick-up times for both outbound and return legs of each medical visit. With innovative technology, our team of four dispatchers on duty every day, call each medical appointment to determine if they are running early or late, and to make scheduling adjustments “on the fly” in order to keep our schedule on time, every time!
