360 Quality Care and Transport Owner, Stephen Newman talking with St. Louis Lambert International Airport Director, Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge

July is right around the corner, and Logan University is gearing up with its partners to host the St. Louis 2022 World Para Powerlifting Parapan American Open Championships. The week long event will be held on its campus July 8-11, 2022. This will be the first time an international competition for the sport of Para powerlifting is hosted in the United States.

Last week, our own Stephen Newman connected with St. Louis Lambert International Airport Director, Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge at Progress 64 West's Speaker Series Event at the Doubletree Hotel in Chesterfield. Their meeting lead to a meaningful discussion on the logistical challenges of handling the safe and prompt arrival of para athletes from all over the world, as well as the complexities of transporting wheelchair athletes and supporters to-and-from the airport, hotels and the competition.

At the Speaker event, Hamm-Niebruegge shared details and important insight related to the regions current and future trends of economic development and the long term plan of the airport. Details of the plan and how it came together can be found on the airports website at www.flystl.com.

Logan University, the athletes, supporters and partners are in good hands. 360 Quality Care and Transport has partnered up with Friendship Village Chesterfield and the SSM Health Foundation to insure a well executed plan.
